Our romantic escape was truly amazing. The room was gorgeous and the balcony had an incredible view. We especially loved the delicious hot breakfast and the cozy fire in the dining room. The location was perfect as it offered a peaceful and quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Another great advantage was the attention to detail shown by the staff, who made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our stay.
We were disappointed by the lack of facilities such as a gym, which would have been a nice addition to our stay. we felt that the attention to detail could have improved in terms of topping up our tea and coffee.

I loved everything about this hotel! The room was upgraded without even asking, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The grounds were beautiful, with a lovely pool and plenty of seating areas. The restaurant had a menu full of delicious options, both for dinner and breakfast. Plus, the location was great - on the outskirts of town, in a quiet area surrounded by nature.
No negatives from this place.

This hotel provided a luxurious and peaceful retreat for couples. the exclusive amenities such as the private pool and park-like garden allowed for ultimate relaxation. Service was attentive and accommodating, fulfilling our needs at all times.
The only minor issue was the enthusiastic waitstaff who repeatedly checked in on us during meals. Despite this, the excellent food in the hotel restaurant with top-notch homemade dishes made up for this minor inconvenience.

What a fantastic stay! the staff were amazing, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the food was outstanding, with a wide variety to choose from for both breakfast and dinner. We loved the cozy atmosphere created by the wood fires in the lounge and dining room. the location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful gardens and offering wonderful views. the pool was clean and inviting, and we enjoyed relaxing on the comfortable loungers. our experience at this hotel was absolutely superb.
We also found it a bit difficult to control the water in the shower, but it was still a lovely shower. the back garden, especially the vegetable garden, could use some better maintenance as it appeared quite dry.

We stayed at Villa Exner for 1 night as part of our honeymoon on the Garden Route. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff and upgraded to a beautiful room without even asking. The hotel itself is small, but impeccably maintained, with quality furnishings and a comfortable bed. The food at the hotel was outstanding, with a fine dining restaurant offering a diverse menu for both dinner and breakfast. The hotel is also located in a stunning and peaceful location, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. We highly recommend Villa Exner and can't wait to come back in the future.
We recommend this hotel.

Located in a serene setting, surrounded by lovely greenery, the place was perfect for a quiet and peaceful New Year's celebration. the food served in the hotel restaurant was excellent, and the staff was attentive and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. the place offered a great outdoor space, perfect for relaxing by the pool after having a tough day. We also liked the fact that we were able to do wine tastings nearby and that there was a nice indoor market nearby.
There wasn't much to do in the area, and we were expecting a little more in terms of entertainment. some of the waiters were a bit too eager to collect feedback, which at times became a little intrusive.

The lush garden with salt-water pool was a refreshing oasis amidst the breathtaking scenery of the Elgin Valley. It felt like stepping into a hidden paradise where I could relax and unwind, soaking up the tranquility and serenity of the surroundings. The unique natural setting of the outdoor amphitheatre in the towering eucalyptus forest provided the perfect backdrop for the incredible concerts that I had the pleasure of experiencing. It was like being transported to a magical world where music and nature harmoniously intertwined, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
